Jackpine Lodge is the largest and oldest family owned and operated resort facility located northeast of Ely. We have been serving vacationers since 1949, and are able to provide you with almost any type accommodations desired. We have 17 completely modern housekeeping cabins. They are all knotty pine paneled, clean and comfortable. The cabins are all located along the shoreline, adequately spaced to assure you of privacy, and placed so that everyone has a view of the lake.

Jackpine is located in northeastern Minnesota on Snowbank Lake, in the heart of the Superior National Forest. We are but a few miles from the Quetico Provincial Park, and are on the perimeter of the Boundary waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The BWCAW is unique in the National Wilderness Preservation System, as it is the only lakeland wilderness in the country. It contains over 1 million acres, runs along the International Border with Canada for over 150 miles, and has over 1000 lakes that are 10 acres or larger in size. Jackpine Lodge is aptly named for the great stands of Jackpine that abound the region and add to the picturesque beauty of the lodge and the glacial lakes in the area.
